A few thoughts on Apple's new iPad
I had alternating feelings on the iPad as it was unveiled this past Wednesday. It seemed like for everything there was to like, there was also something that I disliked about it.
Now, to be clear, I think it’s a fantastic device and it has a the potential to change the way we interact with our computers. But if you substitute “cell phones” in for “computers” you get...

I’d sacrifice capacity for this. I don’t even fill up my 8GB iPhone 3G.
iPad Doesn't Need Multitasking →
Many points the author makes are valid in my opinion. There are a several cases where some API changes or a few tweaks by Apple will go a long way. And there will always be a few fringe cases that require true background processing, and some that will never work well enough to be included. But with more memory and a faster processor, I really expect to see some more cases where applications can...

Stuff like this really pisses me off, and it should probably piss you off too. I don’t want to have all of my personal data out there for anyone to see. It’s part of the reason I left facebook last year and I don’t plan on returning, well that and the self-importance one gets from broadcasting his/her life for hundreds (and now millions) to see. (Also, by proxy, I really...

50 Ways to Improve Your Marriage in 2010 — Simple... →
I think this is some excellent advice. My wife and I know a lot of young couples that have gotten divorced. There have even been days where we’ve felt like giving up, but considering this advice allows us to realize that we are bigger than our problems (with God’s help, of course, Phil 4:13) and that we can get through whatever situation we encounter when we work together as a team.
